About the Role

This is a full‑time position with an immediate start, based at COPE’s Sydney Head Office. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this hands‑on senior role supports the finance function by ensuring the effective delivery of Accounts Payable operations in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Payable processes, including invoice processing, payments, and reconciliations
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of suppliers in line with agreed terms
  • Prepare and process payment runs, supporting effective cash flow management
  • Handling supplier and internal queries
  • Complete supplier reconciliations to maintain accuracy and integrity of accounts
  • Identify, recommend, and support process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and controls within Accounts Payable

 

What will you bring to the role:

Bring your minimum 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable to our Cope Team.  To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience working in accounts payable role – essential
  • An aptitude for accuracy, attention to detail and providing exceptional internal customer service
  • Excellent administrative skills and an ability to deal with conflicting demands and be proactive in determining the prioritisation of tasks
  • Well-developed computer skills and a sound level of proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Business Central software - highly desirable
