About the role:
As a COPE Driver, you’ll be part of a professional and safety-focused team responsible for transporting high-value, time-sensitive freight across Brisbane and surrounding areas
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Transporting Sensitive Freight between depots, customer sites and major distribution centres
- Completing pre-start checks and maintaining vehicle safety standards
- Loading and unloading freight with careful attention to load restraint and security
- Handling specialised trailers and equipment
- Scanning freight using COPE’s track and trace system
- Managing delivery schedules and completing accurate documentation
- Working solo or as part of a two-person team, depending on route and freight
What you will bring to this role:
- A current HC or MC license, with a minimum of 1 year experience driving HC vehicles
- Strong geographical knowledge of Brisbane and surrounds
- A strong commitment to safety and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
- Experience in sensitive freight, linehaul or specialised transport (preferred)
- Forklift, white card or working-at-heights licences are desired but not essential
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A professional attitude, reliability and good physical fitness
