About the role:

We are seeking a reliable and safety‑focused Warehouse Store Person to join our Melbourne operations. This is a hands‑on, operational role supporting the efficient handling, movement, and tracking of freight within our warehouse environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently
  • Sorting, handling, and staging freight for dispatch and delivery
  • Scanning freight using COPE’s track and trace system
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and trolleys
  • Following safety procedures and operating tools to ensure efficient workflows
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements

 

What you will bring to this role:

  • A strong work ethic and a self‑motivated approach
  • A current and valid forklift licence is desirable but not essential
  • Flexibility with working hours and operational requirements
  • Experience in the freight industry or removals environment is preferred but not essential
  • Confidence in adapting to new systems and technology
  • Good physical fitness with previous experience in manual or physical labour roles
  • Attention to detail, including working with paperwork and consignment notes
